Doug Gray

Managing Director
Doug has a vast wealth of experience in print, having worked for both small regional printers up to large multinationals and pretty much everything in between. Doug’s can-do attitude and determination to provide the best possible service and product for all our clients is a driving force behind the business. Doug continues with his determined, competitive streak outside Cambrian Printers where he is a very keen golfer, regularly gracing the greens in Mid-Wales and Tenerife.

Martin Koffer

Business Development Director
Martin joined the company back in 1999 and now looks after Client Services and Business Development as well as Management Information Systems. Always looking for ways to improve and to use technology to better effect, Martin and his team are focused on delivering the best possible service to back up competitive pricing and world class quality of product. Outside work Martin looks after several hives of bees of varying temperament – a good lesson in remaining calm under pressure!

Lee Evans

Operations Director
Lee has been working with Cambrian Printers for just over two years. Lee’s background is in Quality control and Lean working methods, with over 20 years experience of manufacturing, predominantly in the Automobile industry. Lee has a firm belief that the focus and drive for quality, implicit in the automobile industry can be transferred across to print. Lee is a keen distance runner, having participated in many marathons and half-marathons. He is also an ardent Birmingham City football supporter and is looking forward to the blues getting back into the premiership (one day!).

Kieran O’Connor

Finance Director
Kieran joined Cambrian Printers in the summer of 2011. Kieran has a proven track record of delivering profitable results predominantly in the manufacturing sector through taking a very active, hands-on role. Kieran is also honorary chair and secretary of the Welsh Football Association. Amongst his many roles at the FAW he chairs Football Association disciplinary hearings, dealing with players from Welsh League level right up to top Premiership players.

David Lowe

Customer Services Manager
David joined Cambrian as an Estimator, progressed quickly and now heads up the areas of pre-production and customer services. With direct experience of day to day account handling, he has always had a passion for problem solving and helping people get what they want. David’s life is very hectic when he leaves his desk, looking after toddling twin boys, while also having a keen interest in gardening. Despite this he is available for any customer needing help 24/7.

Chris Haines

Prepress Manager
Chris has over 25 years of experience in Prepress having started work in the heady days of hot-metal, migrating through paste-up and film planning through to todays CtP technologies. He has a knack of simplifying complex prepress processes so that robust file creation is within everybody’s grasp. His other forte is colour and colour management where he is determined that every client gets the best possible colour for their jobs. Outside of Cambrian Printers Chris is a keen photographer and an obsessive Longboat rower – regularly rowing and racing in up to force 5 gales in local and international regatta’s.

Ifor Jones

Purchasing & HR Manager
Ifor joined Cambrian Printers in 2000, having previously run the stores for a large multinational company. Ifor’s drive, determination and direct approach to purchasing ensures that we get the best possible prices for all our clients. When not hounding Paper representatives to drive down their prices, Ifor divides his spare time between working on his parents farm and looking after his two young children.

Victoria Fisher

Customer Services Representative
Victoria joined the company in 2002 having previously worked in a senior role for a large publishing company. As such she has first hand knowledge of the trials and tribulations that face our customers – the publisher – on a day to day basis. When not working hard ensuring the smooth running of her varied accounts Victoria is a keen horse-rider and enjoys getting out into the beautiful rural areas around Aberystwyth.

Mansel Frampton

Customer Services Representative
Mansel has more than 30 years experience in the print trade and is highly skilled in many disciplines. He began his apprenticeship in imposition planning and has kept pace with the massive technological changes print has seen over the years. With so many different types of project seen through to succesful completion over the years, Mansel has a knack of finding ways through seemingly impossible problems. Being a fluent welsh speaker he looks after many of our local customers as well as major UK publishers.

Liz Jenkins

Customer Services Representative
Liz has many years experience in a variety of customer-facing roles within the company. She began as PA to the directors, but quickly moved into the Customer Service and Sales departments. Liz is well known for looking after an annual publication dealing with many and varied members of the public and remembering their details year on year. Liz is currently building her own house in a ‘Grand Design,’ but will secretly just be glad to stop living in a caravan.

Dai has recently joined the Company and the Customer Services team having previously worked in photo reproduction with Jessops and then in his own business. With an excellent understanding of printing processes and technology Dai is proving a valuable addition to the team.

Sales Executive
Dai is one of the longest serving members of staff at Cambrian, having seen a fair few changes since 1967! His previous experience in Production now stands him in good stead to advise prospective customers on how to save money and get the product they need. When not seeking out work to keep our presses busy Dai will usually be indulging his love of the Welsh countryside and culture.

Sales Executive
Richard started out in Estimating and remains involved in pricing despite moving on to Sales. His confidence working with numbers and ability to solve problems is an asset in both areas. He has always championed the potential of the web for sales and is a big fan of our online estimating system, which makes life easier for everyone. Interests outside work include boxing, rallying, Guiness & Everton. His favourite food is curry – paid for by paper merchants!

Business Development Manager
Aidan has recently joined the company with a truly impressive wealth of experience in Senior Sales in both print and mailing. Aidan has helped set up new mailing services including inkjetting and tabbing at Cambrian and is always seeking out new opportunities. By his own admission Aidan lives and breathes print but will occasionally switch the mobile off to enjoy time with the family.

Glenn Furneaux

Print Estimator
Glenn is a recent Finance Graduate who joined the company four years ago and has helped improve response times to enquiries to a level we are very proud of. He has quickly taken on a wide range of other responsibilites including involvement in finance and our Health and Safety programme. Outside work Glenn is something of a local celebrity in the darts world and follows Tottenham Hotspurs.
